About TUQAF
Strengthening Academic Quality
The Tanzanian Universities Quality Assurance Forum (TUQAF) is a professional network of Quality Assurance officers committed to promoting and maintaining high academic standards in Tanzania’s universities and degree-awarding institutions. Formed in 2014 under the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) and officially registered in 2015, TUQAF provides a national platform for collaboration, mentorship, and knowledge sharing.
Through workshops, research, training, and capacity building, TUQAF equips Quality Assurance officers with tools and strategies to promote sustainable quality practices. By fostering partnerships with local and international stakeholders, TUQAF continues to drive innovation and improvement in the higher education sector, ensuring that Tanzanian institutions align with national, regional, and global standards.
